Hello, me again!
As you can see, I now have a logo!! What do you think? 😀

Autumn’s settling in, and people are preparing for Halloween. As the cold creeps in (even reaching my hands and feet while I sit at my desk!) I’ll be transitioning from summer vibin’ songs to quiet, cozy lofi playlists to get me through my coding, sleeping, and blogging. It’s one of my favourite seasons, and I love listening to music that makes me feel like I’m in my favourite hoodie, and maybe drinking a hot chocolate (topped with squirty cream and marshamallows, of course), in a room where a fire crackles comfortingly, and scented candles fill the room with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Warm fairy lights hang, and I’m just enjoying the company of the one I love. If music can give me those vibes, then it’s perfect for the season. (big description but, like I said, a blog is just the waffling of a nerd. I’m a nerd and I’m waffling! 😀 – hopefully it wasn’t really boring though)

What kind of things make you feel real autumn-y? Do you have any favourite autumn songs/playlists?

Okay, okay, here’s my updates!

I’m reaching the end of my Unity Learning Pathway (as they call it), so yesterday I was all geared up for some more coding, but instead I was faced with one of those pagefuls of reading. It always seems to happen, when I’m ready to do something.
Oh well – I’ve finished that part now, and a delicious slice of my Grandma’s home-made cheesecake (with strawberries on top) got me through 🙂

Last week I learned how to make a mini-game similar to Fruit Ninja, which was the first time I felt like I was learning and doing something more than just the basics. But that’s the great thing about programming – “it’s not about what you know, it’s about what you can figure out.”  ~  Chris Pine

I’m currently learning how to optimise my code – basically how to make it do the same thing as before, but more efficiently. So that’s… fun? I guess I’ll appreciate the fun stuff more now 😛

I’m gonna end with a YouTube link to a super-comfy lofi playlist that I definately got the autumn vibes with.

I hope you’re all doing well and enjoy the falling leaves and cozy days!

Tiny D.  🍄🍂🍁

I don’t particularly know how to write a blog, but I imagine it’s just the interesting waffling (mm, waffles…) of a nerd about nerdy things. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it – eventually.

Maybe I should’ve started writing this blog sooner – like months and months sooner, when I first made the website – but I’ve been busy, and forgot my website existed (nothing like being honest!)

I’m here now, so I suppose introducing myself is a good way to start!

My name’s Tiny Designs, but that’s a bit annoying to say sometimes, so feel free to call me Tiny!

I’ve been working with various coding languages for about 3 years. C# is the current one that I’m learning.

A year ago I, begrudgingly, started to learn Unity. I thought I could do it without such snazzy software, but apparently not. Turns out I didn’t inherit Einstein’s brain! Who knew??!

It’s a fairly new thing, but I also paint on clothes. I’ve only done two hoodies for my friends (artwork will be in the Designs page soon!)

I did it for free (on their birthdays), so I could paint their favourite game characters without having copyright issues. I might try to paint my own art one day, and then I’d be able to sell the clothes, but not yet – I want to focus on my coding until I’ve got a game out there 😀

Stuff about the website: I’ll get round to making a proper logo eventually, and sorting out all the colours, cause I don’t know if I like it or not. I’ll also be adding new things, so make sure to check out the Home page for updates! For now though, my goal is to make it all as user-friendly and nicely laid-out as possible.

Ooof, this is turning out to be a mouthful of a first post! I don’t want to tell you everything (or hurt your brain!) all in one go, so I’ll end here, and I’ll see you soon! 🙂
